Dr. Bellapianta completed medical school at Albany Medical College and continued to complete his residency mastering skills in trauma and joint reconstruction at Albany Medical Center. After completing school, Dr. Bellapianta finished his fellowship at Andrews-Paulos Research and Education. He also was the recipient of the Victor & Ethel Cermak Tompkins Alumni Scholarship at Albany Medical College for his academic excellence.
Work Experience
Dr. Bellapianta worked closely with high-level college and professional athletes including Auburn University football athletics, West Florida college athletics, Flomaton, AL High School Athletics, as well as professional organizations such as the New York Yankees, Mets, Giants, Rangers and many others across the country. Dr. Bellapianta is also published in six different publications.

Dr. Bellapianta’s area of expertise lies in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Bellapianta completed his fellowship at The Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida. As a fellow, he worked side-by-side with world-renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews. This provided him with intensive exposure to all aspects of non-operative and operative musculoskeletal patient care. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, licensed in NY, FL and NJ.
Special Interests
In Dr. Bellapianta’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. As well as skiing, golfing, cycling, gardening, hiking and fishing.
