Recently, my team members approached me about doing something for our local community to help brighten the holiday season… a way to give back. As the Managing Partner of Performance Rehabilitation & Regenerative Medicine, I feel that I have been blessed with a staff that not only genuinely cares for our patients but also opens their hearts to the less fortunate of our community.
At Performance Rehabilitation & Regenerative Medicine we feel that it is our responsibility and privilege to serve all people, this year we have chosen to support the Prison Fellowship “Angel Tree” project. This project provides gifts for children of incarcerated parents who otherwise may not receive any. It is unfortunate that there are children in our society who are suffering without one or both of their parents due to incarceration. The holidays are extremely difficult for these children. I know that sometimes we can get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and forget about those that are not as fortunate as we are. My team chose to make a difference.
Not only has my team been led to support this cause, but my family has as well. My wife volunteers at the Edna Mann correctional facility for woman facilitating a woman’s fitness ministry. She has found this to be a rewarding ministry and has encouraged our family involvement through prayer for the women and their families.
This is the first year that we have had the honor to participate in the “Angel Tree” program. We look forward to building a long standing relationship and being able to brighten the lives of many children through this organization for many years to come.
All of us at Performance Rehabilitation & Regenerative Medicine wish you a Blessed and Happy Holiday Season and a Healthy New Year.
