Education: Dr. Tabije earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from Binghamton University. He then completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy with Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internship at Nassau University Medical Center, where he received the “Intern of the Year” award. He continued his training as a resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Rusk Rehabilitation, New York University Langone Medical Center where he served as chief resident his final year. Lastly, he completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Medicine at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School.
Expertise: Dr. Tabije was Administrative Chief Resident, Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Medical Center. He also completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain / Musculoskeletal Medicine at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School. Since then, he has been an innovator and pioneer in the area of Regenerative Medicine solutions as an alternative to surgery for both spine and extremity conditions.
Work Experience: Dr. Tabije completed an internship at Nassau University Medical Center, where he received “intern of the year”. He continued on to become Administrative Chief Resident, Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Medical Center. He also completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain / Musculoskeletal Medicine at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School. He has worked as a licensed physical therapist in New York before coming to Performance Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine.
Special Interests: Dr. Tabije currently resides in Wayne, NJ with his wife and 4 children. In his spare time, he enjoys running marathons and hopes to visit all of the United States landmarks and national parks with his family.
